Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse this site and add any items that you wish to purchase into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on the 'Checkout' button and you will be directed to our checkout pages. You will be requested to submit details about yourself which we need in order to process and ship your order.

We accept most major credit cards as payment. Unfortunately due to the increased amount of international card fraud, we are no longer able to accept international online card transactions where we are unable to verify the customers details. International customers are strongly advised to telephone or email the sales office first so that alternative payment methods can be arranged.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back-ordered items are not charged for until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via telephone, facsimile, post or over the Internet.

After placing an order on line we will confirm our receipt of your order by sending you an email confirmation. This does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the revised price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling
All orders are shipped free of charge if the total nett goods value (excluding VAT) is £250 or over.

For orders under £250 nett total goods value (excluding VAT) then carriage will be charged as follows. Orders of a value up to £100 will be subject to a carriage charge of £6.90 plus VAT. Orders with a value of between £100.01 and £249.99 will be subject to a carriage charge of £9.90 plus VAT. For deliveries to Northern Ireland, The Isle of Man, Shetland and all Scottish Islands a surcharge of £12.00 plus VAT will apply. For deliveries to The Republic of Ireland and The Channel Islands a surcharge of £22.00 plus VAT will be applied.

Sound Exposure cannot guarantee the stability of carriage charges and from time to time we may have to amend our charges and policy in line with the terms of our appointed carriers.

Delivery Schedule
All orders received by 2pm (UK time) will be dispatched that day by our nominated courier. All orders received after 2pm (UK time) will be dispatched the following day by our nominated courier. Please note that our normal order processing hours are Monday to Friday, so when an order is received on our server on a Sunday the goods will be dispatched on the following Monday. Please also note that goods will not be dispatched on national Bank Holidays. Any changes to normal working hours will be notified on the contact page of the website.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, it will go onto backorder for you and we will confirm the likely delivery timescale. You will always have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges
For orders made from the United Kingdom or the European Union, 17.5% Value Added Tax is added. All other orders are VAT free.

Customer protection and data security are of utmost importance to us. When you place an order your credit card details are forwarded to our secure server using 128 bit SSL encryption. Credit card fraud is taken very seriously by the Directors of Sound Exposure Limited and any attempt to extract goods or services by false or fradulent means will be investigated and reported to the appropriate authorities. Sound Exposure Limited reserves the right to issue proceedings against any individuals where it is proven that an attempt to extract goods and services by false and/or fraudulent means, has been made.

Access to customers data is strictly controlled and will only be available to staff who require this information in order to complete your transaction. Our IT network is physically and electronically protected and security practices and methods are constantly monitored and improved.

Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. All of our products come with a 12 months parts and labour warranty which is offered by the manufacturer and supported by Sound Exposure Limited. Should your product fail within 14 days of receipt then we will, without hesitation, replace the faulty item with a brand new one. Please note that any goods being returned for exchange or refund must be returned with ALL of the original packaging and accessories, and must be repackaged in such a way as to minimise the risk of return transit damage to the box and its contents. Failure to meet this requirement may invalidate your claim to a replacement or refund. All of our products come with a 30 day no quibble guarantee.

Product guarantees are only valid if the equipment fails whilst it is being used for the purposes in which the manufacturer intended.

Returns Policy
All goods and services offered are sold in accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm. These regulations are to protect you, the customer, and to ensure that you are given clear information about the goods and services that we are offering. Once you have placed an order for goods or services we will forward a confirmation email to the email address provided by you. You are entitled to a cooling off period of 7 days in which you are entitled to cancel your order. Should you wish to cancel your order you must write to the sales office by email or post with your request.

Sound Exposure cannot accept cancellations for certain goods such as music CDs and software which are protected by copyright and that have been unsealed from their original packaging. Goods such as custom assembled cables and electronic modifications ordered specifically to meet a consumers requirements are exempt from these regulations.

The consumer will be responsible for the cost of returning any cancelled goods to Sound Exposure. Any goods that are being returned for exchange or repair due to failure can be picked up from the customers premises by prior arrangement by Sound Exposure by our nominated couriers. Alternatively, the customer may choose to return the goods by their own means. All returned goods must be packaged in such a way that the item(s) arrive at our goods inwards department in the condition in which they were dispatched. Customers are advised to use the services of a reputable courier and to ensure that adequate transit insurance is purchased to cover the full retail cost of the item(s) in the event of loss or damage. Failure to uphold these conditions of return may invalidate your claim to a full refund or replacement.

Remittance Terms
Customers may pay for their goods by the following methods; Credit Card, Debit Card, Cheque, Postal Order, Bank Transfer and Cash. No goods will be shipped without prepayment. Customers with a credit account will be invoiced in the usual way.
